I picked up a pretty clean 59,000 mile 55.2 3600 several weeks ago and with your help have corrected many many previous owner related problems. I repaired the dash and forward harnesses, changed the 6v!! regulator to 12, rebuilt the heater, removed the awful 60s Impala wiper assy, installed electric wipers, repainted the dash, column, wheel and floor, installed a couple of gauges until I can rebuild the cluster, painted the engine, fixed the stomp starter and got the 235 dialed in smooth as silk.
Tomorrow I'm going to take it out on the road, first time it will be on the road since the late 70s! I still have some more work ahead but it looks great and runs even better. I will have to post some pictures to share.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
