When starter peddle is depressed-nothing. Battery appears OK because with key on headlights and radio lights work. Tapped the starter-nothing. Is there a fuse to this cicuit? If so where is it? My truck usualy starts fine when I step on the starter pedal. Sometimes it doesn't do anything and I have to STOMP on the pedal a couple times. You may have to replace the switch located on top of the starter. Real easy to do and the switches are available from most parts venders. Be sure you have voltage to the switch on the starter as well as a good grounds. If the switch looks good (easiest to take off and check) then I would pull the starter. When you say nothing I assume you mean the starter doesn't even spin.
