For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 204 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 204 | a friend of mine sent me pictures of a front clip (1947-53). he didn't know what size truck it was. the hood emblem doesn't say 3100 or 4400 but it does have a deluxe fender trim kit. do they make fender trim for big bolts? will a set from a 1953 fit on a 1955 first series? how much are they worth? these would look cool on my rusty 55 first. thank you | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Naw, they not worth much. Send them to me and I'll put them on my panel. If you can get them I'd latch onto them. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 204 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 204 | thanks. i'm going to take a drive to my friends house but i'd like to learn more about them. they must be rare because i don't see many post about them on this site. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 64 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 64 | Feel free to to pass them around :-)

They are so rare, I doubt if many people know what they look like. Can you post a link to a photo of the clips?
There s a part number in the GM Master Parts Catalog, but I doubt if that would be much help, unless a photo is provided in the MPC.
