Does anybody know where on the truck I would find a plate/list of the RPO Codes for the options included in my 63 C60? I was able to find the VIN, but no list of RPO Codes. Also, where I could find a decode list somewhere online?

There was a build sheet created for each truck that might be found in the springs on the backrest of the seat or perhaps under the seat. The sheet was not always placed in the truck and was simply thrown away after production.

the selling dealers always got copies of the line setting sheets though. it always gave them the info that they needed to service a lot of these vehicles or for parts., but time does move on

The "Numbers-Matching" cliche, is often used, when referencing these trucks. Unlike the car-counterparts of the same years, which included trim tags, indicating the R.P.O.'s of the vehicle, the trucks of the same years, did not have trim tags, therefore "Numbers-Matching", is not applicable. Without the orginal build sheet, window sticker, dealer invoice or protect-o-plate (with database access), the Regular Production Options, found on the truck, as it was originally equipped, is virtually impossible to verify or prove.

Tony; would this made it a matching nbrs truck?

the protecto-plates of those years would not have had data - base access as that was not in effect yet. it was all manual paper type research and access.
the line setting or build sheets with the corresponding ser # was the only real reliable way of identifying what they had

Also back then nearly any option could be added by the dealer-even V8 installation was common then-the dealer made more by installing the larger engines and other options, rather than order the truck equipped.
