The "Numbers-Matching" cliche, is often used, when referencing these trucks. Unlike the car-counterparts of the same years, which included trim tags, indicating the R.P.O.'s of the vehicle, the trucks of the same years, did not have trim tags, therefore "Numbers-Matching", is not applicable. Without the orginal build sheet, window sticker, dealer invoice or protect-o-plate (with database access), the Regular Production Options, found on the truck, as it was originally equipped, is virtually impossible to verify or prove.

the line setting or build sheets with the corresponding ser # was the only real reliable way of identifying what they had
