Two tenderloins were grilled to perfection today and they await consumption. Combine that with Johns famous beans and my wifes homemade potato salad and you have a meal fit for a Bolter! George and Joyce, I can't thank you enough for welcoming us into to your home and feeding us some great fiddles (John, as ususal, your beans were delicious too!). The time was too short which means I had a great time and a break from my daily routine was much needed. What a treat it was see and hear Jack play his banjo. He is truely gifted and it is really neat to see how he has progressed over the years since the first time I saw him play. Jack, thanks and keep up the good work.
I really enjoyed seeing Bill's place. The property alone is awesome and all the toys and projects were the icing on the cake. I would love to go to the top of the "hill" next time!
Great seeing all of my Brothers and meeting a couple of new ones too. Homecoming can't come quick enough!

Thank you Billy for the gift and thanks to John for his "Magical Beans". Thanks to all for the conversation and fellowship. It was also nice to meet Jim, Dan and Alec... you guys are great and fit right in with our band of misfits. All of you guys are welcome at "The Ranch" anytime you are in town.
We missed seeing some of the regular faces, like Mike R, Andrew and Johnny G, but we honored you by leaving the bottom three shelves in the garage open for your gear. Those spots will always remain open for you if you attend in the future.

When I got up this morning it was a brisk 18 degrees here. Glad we had a warm spell in beautiful Fulks Run for the JYT.
In case y'all were worried, I got my truck washed today and put away.....they are calling for rain here tomorrow! Heavy D is back on the front line!

Billy -- I was worried about Heavy D, as was Paniolo -- who told me, in his own peculiar way, just how pleased he was to provide backup for all the "less experienced" and "junior" trucks on the adventure who were understandably intimidated by the muddy climb up to Frankie's or the mighty river fording on the way home. The 2WD Cumminsbolt was much relieved he didn't have to rescue anyone on the trip!

I honorably accept the second of Brother Marlow's motion and would like to add an additional honorable mention to Brother Van Orden's 66. I was honored to witness his fine machine not only be the only vintage iron present at the junkyard, but also was fearless in the mud, and in addition, CROSSED THE MIGHTY FRANKIE RIVER without hesitation!!!!!
Georges truck performed flawessly and I was proud to see it in action!!!
