I have my original guage in my 37 BUT I took it to a fellow who reconditions guages and had him to calibrate it to where what it showed on the old guage was actually twice the reading. When my guage says "15" its actually "30". Just an option. If not trying to retain some look of originality then check the tech tips....some "Z" guages will work and you have instant 12 Volt. I had my gages rebuilt by Williamson's in Arkansas. The fuel gage is being sent back to them...it does not seem to work beyond giving me a 1/4 tank fill reading at all levels of fuel.
Another question..when my headlights are on, the amp gage pegs at +20. Is this normal?
