Does anyone have an old Moog catalog with '60-'62 Chevy front suspension parts?
I've got one that has the tie rods, sleeves, bump stops, ball joints, pitman arm and idler, but I need the numbers for the upper and lower control arm shafts and seals.

Thanks,
-Brad

Brad, a lot of stores are dropping MooG in farvor of "store brands" but as one last resort have you tried Advance Auto. I deliver parts there a couple days a week and one of our commercial shops builds/restores originals and ratrods. They buy a lot of moog from us and if not on hand as the COMMERCIAL sales guy about it. The Commerical folks "generally" are pretty savy and can get stuff.....no shipping and if not on hand it may come the day from a local Advance warehouse or overnight.
....you want my number for a discount?!!

I have the catalog at the shop. I can look it up tomorow.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

It doesn't show anything on the shafts for 60-62. It seems like the torsion bar hooks to the upper shaft. That was a weird settup they only used for those 3 years. The lower ball joint at LMC is almost $200.

Thanks guys.
I found that the upper and lower shafts were never available from Moog.
I've got a local shop that had a bunch of NOS parts in the back, but didn't have the application to go with the numbers on their boxes.
Not a single '60-'62 part in there!
I found a vendor at Moultrie who had some stuff, and got a pair of NOS upper ball joints for $35 each, and I already have a pair of NOS lowers on the shelf, and an idler arm.
That leaves tie rod ends and sleeves, a new pitman arm, and the upper and lower A-arm shafts, seals and nuts.
I'll still have a couple hundred in the rebuild, using LMC, but I've saved several hundred by finding all the balljoints.

You might try:

www.oldchevytrucks.com

Jim Carter Classic Truck Parts

You might also, try:

www.bowtiebits.com

Both companies sell reproduction and some NOS items, so it may be worth a call or e-mail.

Does anyone know where I can purchase new lower control arm shaft SEALS? I have a 1962 C10 still with torsion bar suspension. With Appreciation...

I found them by googling every cross reference part number I could come up with. A vintage Buick parts place had them on the shelf.
