My previous set-up was a stock Rochester BC with a #59 jet. It ran pretty good, but seemed to have a big flat spot in the upper RPM range. The rest of the engine was stock. I'm in the process of rebuilding a '56 235 and installing a 261 cam and a split manifold. I was wondering about the benefits of a 2V. I am planning on keeping the stock intake and have exhaust heat to the manifold. Is the swap worth my time and $$$ if I keep the stock intake, or do I need to upgrade the intake too? TIA.

Runs great. Daily driver, several 1500 mile trips, 20 mpg hwy. I hade my own linkage using Heim (small ball+socket) joints, smooth as silk.
