on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 163 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 163 | Are they? My truck has them on the front fenders. I don't really want to keep them unless I have to, but I didn't know if I was grandfathered in with the old truck.

Are you talking about the 1950 truck in your signature line? If so, one option would be to replace the bulb sockets in your parking lights with dual element ones and put the turn signals there. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,963 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,963 | A 1950 model is not required to have turn signals, but you must roll the window and point to the left for a left turn and point up for a right turn. However, very few people will know what you are doing. Turn signals are only required on 1960 or newer models that are less than 80" wide. http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/rsd/vi/publications/rules/safety_manual/chapter4.pdf | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | .... roll down the window and point to the left for a left turn and point up for a right turn. But what about the rear?

I just purchased these and will be putting them onto my truck. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/upd-s2010ledI am useing a trailer light conversion on the tail lights so that i can make them blink for turn signals. cost me $20 i think.
