Another custom detail: I installed some modified bed side trim across the back of the cab at the two tone paint break line.

Pretty subtle, but it visually ties the custom cab b-pillar trim panels together.

Intersting upper brake light. Now how about a bead of stainless around the drip edge? Too Much?

Nice. It looks as if it should have been there all along.

Looks good, My 62 is the same color. I have seen a few with what seemed to be a factory correct molding. But it may have been used in only in 1960. None of the newer trucks have it. Does any one know for sure??

Here's another thread that discusses the rare back cab trim, the thread is entitled "1960 Custom Cab Back Cab Trim", $260 seems ludicrous though for a piece of $50 trim. If I was a dishonest guy I could make a buck with this... dance http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=560847&highlight=trim

Nice touch. Good job.

The factory trim, terminates with the run-out on the cab sail, with a flanged lap joint, similar to the spear & front fender trim. The run-out is back-flanged and the horizontal trim, under the window, nests on top of the back-flange.

So is the 1960 B-Pillar trim different due to the flanged lap joint?

Yep! Lakeroadster = Hot Rod John

Lakeroadster: I picked this name when I started building my '27 Ford Roadster Pickup, circa July 2000. I built it as a "Lakes Roadster": http://i645.photobucket.com/albums/...Ford%20RPU/2009_10180026_zps3166a719.jpg

Hot Rod John: this is the nickname my buddies here in Colorado call me. Used this member name when i started looking for a vintage Chevy pick-up in July 2008 and joined the crew here at The Stovebolt: http://i645.photobucket.com/albums/...0Pickup/2621897210103882008mTylTc_fs.jpg
