The wiring in the engine compartment looks like a crack smoking slacker messed it up. I have not had it running as of yet, but I anticipate I will want to change this all out.
My questions are, has anybody used the EZ wiring harness, if so which specific harness set up and was it easy? Or has anyone done the Painless wire harnes with the same questions?
I don't plan for electrical windows or A/C in the next 3-5 years, however; plans change and I may have wished for the bigger wiring harness. Any thoughts?
If this has already been discussed on a thread please lead me in that direction.
Thank you all for the continued support.
Dan Colorado

The unit is a lot like an OEM, in the way the wires attach to the fuse block, no clips or screws. It's labeled nicely and has plenty of wire length. If you have been checking around you know the pice is right. The only bad thing is that the instructions are a little weak. They may be better now, (this was 2 years back) they seemed to know then that they were soft in that department. All in all I would use them again, if only for the price. Good luck Richie Z | | |

That's what I did and it was not rocket science. I bought the EZ-Wire kit ... every bit as good as Painless for a lot less money; only $160 -- you can read all my install notes and tips, links to the EZ-Wire harness, etc. HERE It seems like a big project, and it is ... took me 10 days ... but it was also a lot of fun! And if you just tackle the project with a "one-wire-at-a-time" approach, it's easy as pie.

I look forward to the challange and the learning experience. Alan, I think I read your 10 day ordeal. That means mine will be a 20 day ordeal... That is how things go for me. Thanks again guys, it is good to hear from actual stovebolt guys who have used the EZ-wire harness. Dan Colorado
