It runs but of course needs some TLC. I took a couple of years of auto mechanics in high school and have always worked on my own stuff. I remember to shop teacher always said that a vehicle that wouldn't go was not a problem, just one that wouldn't stop! I am planning on converting to front disc brakes. You have found the best Chevy truck forum on the internet.
There are lots of mid '60's trucks here. Almost all the truck vendors sell disc kits. It isn't hard to put one together yourself. CPP has a good selection of kits.

You will find what you need right here. Spend a little time looking around and learning the sight. The tech tips and the links section provide a lot. A search for disc brakes will probably give you hours and hours of reading. LOTS for folks here have and are doing it.
I might add that to get the best results and most replies try to post your questions in the best forum.....brakes in Driveline, engine questions in Engine Forum. I'm sure you see the logic. heck, with a C20 you may even have some questions for the Big Bolt Forum.
