"Finished" the Blazer a couple of years ago. It's a Carolina truck for my alma mater, UNC-CH. So, I bought the '46 off Ebay from a guy in Kansas. The bank out hasn't been the same since! This one is going to be a Duck Truck for my wife's college University of Oregon. Chevy 350, jag front clip.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Those are two sweet rides. I grew up just north of you on the NC coast. I'm trying to figure out the dimesions of the wood bed boards. The shipping on the kits kills me. Also, I'm always looking for good parts places. I know of Dan's Classic in PDX (where I am), Chevy of the 40s, just up the road, Jim Carter and a few others. Any ideas appreciated!

1946 getting closer to being reassembled! A grill (which is being re-chromed) and a windshield (in my garage) away.

Why not make your own Bed boards ?. Pretty easy to do with just a table saw or router to prep the edges. Save $$ and shipping $$
A couple of other suppliers....Bowtie Bits, and Dreamers Hot Rods in Everett, WA
