Currently 8 degrees!

A mild 17 here this morning when I got up, so I put a light jacket on and went for a little run before breakfast.
As the sun comes up, I am gazing across the yard and notice that my trailer, that my lovely wife used to pick up hay north of Westminster yesterday, is no longer dark blue but an even MD DOT salt "white" from head to toe, underneath and on top. Guess I have a job to do once the temp goes up a little bit more.

I hear you, Brother William -- My faithful Dodgebolt is that same off white color today from our rescue mission to Ft Meade yesterday ... I washed it off with the hose after I took my outside shower after my own 25k jog this morning (it was very motivational) in the 10 degree breeze. That dip in the pond afterwards was refreshing, though.

I sure hope the fixes to ole Heavy D work out and that that ramblin' wreck will get you to the Winter Classic. I worry about you, man. You have my cell, as well as the rest of your brothers. If ole faithful should let you down along the way, know that we all stand ready to come to your assistance. Check in often on your journey ... we'll get you there one way or another. I can't wait to see how you've fixed the ole bus up to make one more trip to be with your brothers!

I am sorry to say,I'm Out, that is race weekend. I was asked to work overtime that Saturday. I don't wanna pass up any money that I can make. This will be the first I have missed in a while.I too need a truck weekend, but, I never miss a Daytona 500 race. I will drink several for each of you.
