My truck has the 4 speed with granny gear and I would like to go to a 5 speed. Any info or sugestions would be great.

Have you thought of installing an overdrive unit instead of swapping the transmission? There is NO NV4500 that will bolt to the Chevy bell housing. I thought there was, too, but they are vapor ware and do not exist!
