I just recenty acquired a 1953 Chevy 3100 pickup. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences as I continue restoring her, and getting advice from the stovebolt community. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the group.

Welcome to Stovebolt from Ohio. As twotone stated, pictures of your restoration would be nice to see.

Welcome Joe, I'm sure you'll fit right in, lots of AD truck owners here. Hopefully your truck isn't in too bad of shape.

Joe, sharing is what its all about. I doubt any of us will live to "know it all" so we have to rely on one another. Lots of good folks and plenty of knowledge here on the bolt.
Welcome, and I'll see ya around the garage.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

I'm sure I will spend a lot of time here. She still needs a lot of work done to her. I thought I saw, on here, someone post a step by step on how to rebuild the speedometer. Only now I can't find it. Anyone know the post I am looking for?

Thank you Peggy M! That's the one.
Hoping the new needle and cable I ordered come in this week. Would love to get the speedometer working again.
