Hey everyone. New guy here just getting started with a project I bought. I was under the impression I was buying a 1941 Ford Pickup with a Chevy L6. However with some more research, mostly from this site, I learned I had a 1941 Ford truck cab and a 1955 Chevy everything else.

I look forward to learning from you all and getting some good information from the people who have worked on these trucks forever.

Welcome heugeneo, lots of knowledge here, just browse through the different forums. What are your plans for it? Might be some demand for that body, but not likely on this site. lol.

Good luck with it.

Hey 1953 panel, thanks for the welcome. I'm just gunna keep it the way it is, I like the look. I just want to go through and rebuild the brakes, fix all the leaks, tune up, paint it and drive it around. If I ever get around to making a photobucket account I'll add some pics.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Thanks. Yes, I've alread gotten some help from a post. Everyone has been very informative. It's a lot more laid back and welcoming than some of the other forums.
