The Fresh Air Heater was designed to pull the air from outside. If you don't want that, cover the vent and replace your heater with the Recirculating Heater.

My neighbor has a fresh air on his 49'. I like his. Want to trade? My core drains(blows through) good. Fan works great. I've repainted it a darker forest green. The fan is just primered and I haven't touched the motor...yet. Let me know what you think. jeff If you are interested, look at you firewall from the engine compartment on the passenger side. You should see two (2)5/8" or 3/4" holes vertically alighned about 8" apart. Thats where the hoses run through. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,842 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,842 | It's winter time, why pull your heaters now? Wait until summer or unless you have your truck in non working conditions right now. I have a recirulating heater and it works so well I need to roll the windows down just to cool the cab. Maybe its just all that heat coming through the firewall holes
