I used a 3-wire flasher as per the signal switch's instructions. As I do not have the actual lights on the truck yet I simply grounded my test lamp and stuck it to the various wires to make sure I didn't screw up. The test lamp lights up when I want it to but nothing flashes. It's just a steady light.
So, do I have a faulty flasher or do the turn signal lamps have to be in place for my blinkers to blink? | | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 725 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 725 | Your test light is not enough resistance to make the flasher work. You need the bulbs!
