The electrical problems;
#1, When I turn the turn signal in either direction, both turn signals flash along with the rear side marker lights.
#2, No rear brake/tail lights.
While removing the bumpers to start body work, I checked the wiring that I could see. No problems found. The problem was going on BEFORE bumper removal. Any suggestions???

Yes there is a trailer light plug. i checked the ground at the point that it was screwed into the bumper. i alos checked for "skined" placs in the wiring going to the plug.

Try unpluging the front turn lights 1 at a time at the radiator support & see if that changes anything. Follow the wire going to the rear lights along the frame. Look for broken or coroded wires. I,ve got a 70 also. Great truck.

Check all of those dual filament bulbs. It is surprising how often one filament will break and short to the other filament causing a cross connection.
