Also found out today there is a shelve life to primer hardeners, two weeks it said in the small print. Just so other know to avoid it, the brand I use (SPI) lasts a year.

The Indy car shops here in town use to do it all the time. Mainly for the Indy 500, to get that tenth of a second advantage over the other guy, now the big boys paint them on.
The primer shelf life is after it is mixed with the hardener.
