Hello,
This may be a pretty straight forward question here on a conversion of 6V to 12Volt systems. I have a 6Volt ignition switch....when I change over to 12 volt do I need to replace the ignation switch as well? To a 12...
Thanks!

Nope, it doesn't care what voltage you have.

Change the #51 6v bulb in the ign switch to #53 12v bulb.

Is your truck a '54? Here are the equivalent 12v bulbs for the 6v bulbs in your dash ...

I omitted the 12v bulb for the accessory cigarette lighter. It is probably #53.
