I bought 2 complete headlights from an 80's Dodge Dakota: Dakota headlights They have this type bulb socket on the back, use the 9004 bulb: 9004 bulb socket I cut off the bulb socket with my bandsaw cut off socket I drilled my reflectors with a 1 1/8 hole saw drill reflectors I then glued the socket with epoxy glue epoxy glue Socket glued to reflector socket glued I changed the plug to a 3 prong universal plug changed plug Installed the reflectors into the headlight buckets reflectors installed I now have BRIGHT lights BRIGHT lights My cost was under $30.

FWIW there's an easier (but more expensive) option for those who don't want to cut and/or drill their original reflectors. Bill Hirsch sells halogen bulbs that will fit the prefocus base socket.
