I could barely make out the words and the hex is busted off leaving a large hole in the top, which had a carved down broom handle end stuck in it.

| | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | I've had a number or originals on 55-59's - problem with them is they corrode solid to the MC - a good practice if you want to keep an original is to source a large O-ring that will fit the cap as a gasket to keep it from seizing on - otherwise many vendors have plastic caps and a few have aluminum
