The wiring harness on the truck is pretty lousy as it has been cut, spiced into, etc. I have numerous catalogs from restoration parts sites and have seen wiring harness assemblies, headlight wiring assemblies, etc. available for sale. Will these work for my C60? My truck has a 292 CID, standard heating system, standard lights, dash with all guages (no tachometer), etc. I see no reason why these won't work for me but figured I'd post and see if anyone has ever used the reproduction harnesses?? Any inputs would be appreciated...

Check what alt/gen. you are useing & try to get a harness to match or you will have to modify it. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum

Thanks for the response.
What I am seeking, however, is feedback from someone who may have purchased a wiring harness for their truck. Did it work? How was the quality? Wire lengths correct? Provided the correct one was ordered, were any modifications necessary? Etc...
Thanks, in advance!! | | |

I pulled out the wires I didn't need and it turned out to be a great investment $180.00 I believe for the harness. A slow process but well worth it.
EZ Wire Harness was the outfit, I called and talked to them they were very helpful.

Most of the OEM wiring was marginal, at best, so I went for a PAINLESS wiring 18 circuit harness for the suburban... took an entire weekend, I work real slow and carefully, I detest doing things twice... and I have the circuits needed for all power accessories, should I wish to add... the wiring is top-notch, 600 volts capacity, all labeled and the tech support was real good and fast, for the few questions I had... A little expensive, but it looks better than factory, and so far reliable... Good luck!
