The cylinder for the passenger door lock came out in PO's hand 2 days before I picked up the truck. I have the cylinder, a sleeve with slots in it, and a spring. I've tried various combinations of insertions, and turns to try to get it to 'lock' into the door handle.
Anyone have experience with these?
Thanks! Tom

Here is a picture from the parts manual,

The roll pin on the left side of picture holds it all in place.

Ok, not sure that is right, I've been looking at the picture and really don't remember how I got it together, I do know there is a roll pin that holds something in place.

If you can't get it together, these do come up on Ebay from time to time.

The "clip" and the "pawl are the two parts most people lose when working with the parts of this door handle. The other trick is put the parts back together and inside the handle with out them coming apart. You actually have to tie or wire the parts together to get them in the cylinder. Don't tap or lightly hit any of the small parts during assemble. They are made of pot metal and break easily.
