I have the cylinder, a sleeve with slots in it, and a spring. I've tried various combinations of insertions, and turns to try to get it to 'lock' into the door handle. Anyone have experience with these? Thanks! Ok, not sure that is right, I've been looking at the picture and really don't remember how I got it together, I do know there is a roll pin that holds something in place. Joe

The other trick is put the parts back together and inside the handle with out them coming apart. You actually have to tie or wire the parts together to get them in the cylinder. Don't tap or lightly hit any of the small parts during assemble. They are made of pot metal and break easily. Find the oldest locksmith you can find and he might be able to do it!
