Where can I find new rims for my 1950 4100 dually. I still have the original split rims and tires. The tires are 6.50-20 front and back. The fronts are 5 bolt and the back are 10 bolt.

Thanks again for the emblem info. and the compliment. It has only a little over 9,000 original miles on it. Has never seen the road its been garage kept on a cemetary or farm most of the time. I am the 3rd owner.

Is that the original paint? I've never seen a truck that old in that kind of original shape! Very nice!! If you have the good split rims with the outside locking ring, why change from the original equipment. You can find people to do tire work with those. It's the rims with the center locking ring (Widow Makers) that no one will touch.

It does look like you have lock ring wheels not split wheels. A little closer pictures of the wheels would make it easier. Very nice truck.

Its unlucky that your wheels are in need of replacement when the rest of the truck is so mint. Have you pulled them all apart? Mine has the same wheels, in the three piece rim. These will handle a fair bit of rust before you'd have to abandon them.

I had to search far and wide for useable ones. You will too. I found that bead blasting and then heavy zinc paint worked well, followed by two coats of enamel.

You will have the same rims front and rear- the fronts have a cover hiding the unused holes. They look like the three piece rims- The main wheel, the separate outer rim and the lock ring. Best to pull them apart and see what they look like. Are they damaged? They look ok. But yes- nothing saves them from centrifuging in water in the wet, and then standing for 60 years will rot them out.

There is plenty of wheel info on the forums here, and no real easy answer. Best of luck.

The wheels are in great shape no rust at all so if they are not the (widow maker) type I'll keep them I just need tires. Thanks everyone

Yep, those are the good lock ring wheels, all you need are tires.

What is wrong with the wheels you have? They look fine to me. I agree with Drydock. All you probably need is some tires.

Yeah: Just get a tire guy that knows what he's doing and you won't have a problem. If you can see the lock ring on the outside of the front wheels your in good shape. I had my tire guy dismount my tires and took the wheels home , cleaned and primed them on the inside. Then took them back to him to mount the new tires. They tend to rust on the inside.

Those a differently "Not Widow Makers" any tire shop will handle those..Les Schwab, Big 'O' and more.

Tires are available from many different sources.

Beautiful Truck

It is good to know that there are some still some great finds out there in the world.

Lucky SOB some people have all the luck.

Enjoy you ride, good luck.
