I removed the rear driveshaft and unbolted the center bearing carrier from the cross member. My question is: how do I remove the carrier bearing from the front driveshaft? Gear puller? Press? I wish to benefit from someone else's experience instead of going about this in the most difficult manner possible (my usual MO).

I took it to a shop nearby. Fifteen minutes, ten bucks and done.
