Left tail lamp works fine, blinks when blinker is on , gets bright when you hit the brake. Right one is a different story. Its very bright all the time, as if you had the brake depressed however if you take the bulb and insert it where it will not stay it works fine. Any suggestions?

I bought some new bulbs this morning. I will try it out tonight and see what happens. I hope its not wiring. If it is then that will be the excuse I need to take off the bed and have some fun with a san blaster  | | |

Find where your light grounds to the frame and take out the screw, wire brush the contact and the frame till they are shinny put on a layer of petroleum jelly and screw it back together.
Bet that will fix it up. I've seen similar behavior in that case.
