I am told that it is a 292 C.I. Inline 6. Could this be accurate?

Side cover would be a large tin piece that extends all the way from valve cover (around the plugs) and down behind distrib. The 292 is a much later motor has two 6" tall side covers distrib is not centered along the block but way foreward. | | |
