Anyway I bought this truck after the auction ended, the winning bidder was just trying to run the price up on me but I didn't fall for that it, so I was just going to let it go and see what happened. well what happened is they owner contacted me after the auction and we agreed on a price and the truck is now mine, but its still in NJ, I hope to get it move to Utah soon. Anyway I got some photos from them showing a few more of the details of this truck, so I have posted a page for it on my site: Jolly's 1965 GMC 3505 Rescue Vehicle Hope you enjoy the photos and I'll keep you all posted about when it gets moved to Utah. | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | great!! I didn't get a chance to see the auction- what did the rig set you back? | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 268 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 268 | OK So While I'm waiting for parts to get the alt fixed, which will be next week sometime, i figured I mite as well check out the Onan Electric Plant. I checked the oil and found it overflowing with Fuel, so I changed the oil. I got a scocket out to turn it over with the crank bolt to make sure it was free, and it is. Next I hooked it up to the Rhino for a jump but it would just click, its battery is stone dead, so I made a pull rope and gave it a tug. It started right up on the frist pull. 3 of the 4 flood lights came, so all the swicthes were left on. Now I have one of those flood lights to fix. ~~~> Here is a Poor Quailty Video <~~~ | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 5,139 Authorized Pest | Authorized Pest Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 5,139 | Got the truck in the Gallery now.
