| | | | Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 118 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 118 | have a 48 gmc 1/2 ton...they change the orignal brakes to ones that came out of a 51-55 i beleive a chevy truck...where is there a good place to get the brakes...also the front bearing, the one that sits next to the plate...its bigger than the one i order which is the orginal for the 48...ball bearings...i put the new bearing on the old bearing, which is on my truck, and the new bearing is about 1/2 inch smaller all around than my old bearing | | | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 | you might try Jim Carter here or your local parts store might have them also
