My dad retired from farming last summer and my older brother bought the farm from him. This was the one thing he didn't want. It's a '69 C60 grain truck.I learned how to drive in this ol girl many years back and spent countless hours in it during harvest. So when I was asked if I wanted it awhile back I jumped at the offer.Only real problem is it won't always start.Hook the jumper cables to her and she turns right over.Think it may have a short.Anyhow I plan on slowly restoring it.It has a BB 366 and air brakes/air horns. The bed is in really rough shape.Trying to decide to rebuild the bed or just find another at an auction.Got a good set of mirrors today and plan on getting them and the brackets painted tomorrow. It hasn't been used for anything other than haulin trash an occasional load of rock since they bought semis 10+ years ago.Anyhow on to the pics.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Thanks Achipmunk. It's in decent shape but still needs quite a bit of work.Luckily I have a buddy who is one of the best bodymen in southeast kansas.I got the mirror brackets all sanded, primered, and painted sunday. The look fairly good now.The old mirrors were so frosted over ya couldn't see out of them anymore.

How about an update on the '69? I wish I could have found one with air brakes.

The bed on that looks a lot like the one on my '46. Mine was made by Giant and I can't find any info. on it but I could send you some detailed photos if you want.
