I have a 35 pickup and would like to move it to a more modern running gear and retain the 17" 6 lug wire wheels. Is it a fairly easy swap? A 2dr Tahoe with 4wd is the right wheelbase and has 6 lug wheels.

Those wheels are the same bolt size as the earlier GM trucks, not sure if the newer Tahoe went metric or not. I suspect the frame might be a bit wide to accommodate the running boards but if you are good with torch and welder it can be done.

Tires will stick out past the fenders in the front.

The bolt pattern is the same, but you will find, as the others mention, that the frame will be too wide to fit comfortably under the older cab. The track width is much wider, using the old style low offset wheels will make this even more noticable in addition to altering the scrub raduis/handling. The older wheels may not clear the brakes on the Tahoe frame.

Do any of the s-10's, blazers, or trailblazers have 6 lug wheels?

Show us some pictures of what you have and maybe we can come up with some better ideas for you. Six lug wheels is the least of your worries.

Here's some food for thought. If you really want to use the Tahoe frame, cut the rivets/welds from the crossmembers and steering linkage, cut them to length to make them shorter, then weld/rivet/bolt them back together. It's too long too, then you'll have to shorten the frame.
I'm in the same delima, my '41 is going to get another frame under it. I just haven't made up my mind what to do.
Good luck

S10s and Blazers are all 5 lug. Trailblazers are 6 lug, but they use a smaller pattern. A Colorado might be a better choice, as it is 6 lug and about the same width as an S10.

Bad fit!!!
You might as well use a 1975 Lincoln Continental. Heavy price to pay for disc brakes and IFS.

other prob you have besides the track being too wide early chevy trucks have a fairly open veiw to see the front suspention putting that frame under it your A-arms are going to look rediculusly large you can get away with it alot easyer with the S-10 i have seen trucks where in not in part they did use the front crossmember from a full size late chevy and never seen one that looked good "personal opinion only"
