Sometimes the "hot" light will flash on while cranking, but I have never seen the cold light come on even after a bulb swap. Is it supposed to come on while the engine is "cold"? Brian | | |

Ground 1 wire at a time & the coresponding light should come on with the key on. If the cold light comes on replace the sending unit. The hot light should come on with key in start position. I like to put in a new sending unit anytime I get a "new" vehicle just too be shure.
