on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! It has been sitting on a farm in Glenn County CA along side a red barn for almost 7 years. Caught it on Craig's List, in Chico CA. Pretty solid old truck only one bad rust spot, lower passenger side corner. Engine runs and dump bed works, no brakes yet. Have pix at Photo Bucket: http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh594/GMCPic/

Cleaned the trans up, flush it out and replaced gear oil, 1 1/2 gallons of 90W. Cleaned clutch and brake arms, replaced bushings, new return springs for both. New Carburetor return springs and cables. Replaced U-Joint on back of trans and new drive-line carrier bearing. Replaced all U-Joints (3) on PTO to Pump Drive-line and repaired drive-line slip joint at hydraulic pump. Still need to replace last 2 main drive-line U-Joints. Did complete grease job on suspension, steering and dump hoist. Have started under dash work...ugh More pix to be seen at: http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh594/GMCPic/

Have started the re-wire project. Plug Speed-O and Gauge Cluster.
Need to replace Light switch, broken terminal. Will replace with 12V repo...also need to replace Temp gauge to mechanical gauge and 12V fuel gauge and sending unit.
Purchased new Speed-O and rewired parking lights, new front amber teardrop turn signals, pulled headlight buckets cleaned up, painted and reinstall...already had 12V head lights.
Half the lights were 6v, the rest 12V.
No wonder the guy I bought it from was confused part is/or was 6V and some 12V...you know how some rice farmers are...lol.
Yeah my truck was used to haul rice to the Co-Op. It was full on rice grains and rice straw. I now has rice growing in my yards. And mice nests too.
