Had my ’41 out last week for the first time this spring when we had some unusually great weather here in Michigan. Now my garage has that great old truck smell. It is one of the things I like about these old trucks. Kinda a mix of hot oil, heavy gear lube, gasoline, and maybe a little antifreeze

Kip, know what you are saying! Even the wife likes it. Only thing better is to get a bale of fresh straw or hay in the bed...love that old machinery in the barn smell. smile

Kinda like this? My garage, er barn, has taken on a whole new ora. It's weird, I'm starting to enjoy the delicate aroma of gear oil, too!

One of our cats Dexter came back into the house the other day, after having a hunt for critters in the garage.

My Missus said he smelled just like his 'Dads' truck!
