They have the female connection on one end and the male on the other. My old ones are aluminum. They just "pad out" the handles a little. Anyone know where I might find these? (1952-3100)

If unable to locate these, you might drill out the rivets holding the rod/spindle to the regulator and go to your local u-pull-it with a measuring tape, cordless drill, and 1/8" bit. Look for a GM vehicle with heavily padded door panels and do some comparin' and tearin'.
