s10 are favourable since they have a mechanic speedo but kan i get a newer(how new 1995/96? ) trans out of a s10 or s10 blazer?
the older ones is harder to get by here in norway..

Around 95-96 they went to a different trans. that has the bell houseing built in. You cant use it. About 94-95 they used the World class model which is a little stouter then the non-WC. Get the number off the trans you are considering. Like 1352-xxx & look it up on a chart. It gives the gear ratios. Some ratios are not desireable for some applications. Like .086 overdrive wouldnt be much help with a low rear end.

as easy as i thought.... most s10 i have seen here has automatic
but i`ll keep my eye out there.... i have yet to buy a rear end so i guess i can match the rear to fit the ratio in the trans..
