For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 135 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 135 | My hood latch bolt continuously gets loose after drives. Ill make sure its tight before a ride and when i get back I'll check it again its loose. I've tried to get a bolt on the other end of the latch bolt, but none will fit because there isn't enough room on he latch bolt after going through the latch support. I asked my brother who has a 64 suburban and he has experienced the same thing.
I'm afraid one day it will get loose and fall off and my hood will fly up while driving. Any thoughts on how to approach correcting this? Thanks john

If so that pin is supposed to have a jamb nut that you tighten after you adjust it. Shoot me an email and I will send you a photo of what it is supposed to look like. I also have dozens of these nuts so I could send you one if you get the shiping.Sweet truck. I got to get some photos of my Blk 65 K10 on here.
