I had posted a thread in the engine shop but the only advice I received was from 3B. It makes sense and I'm going to try it but I want to make sure that I have other checks and balances. I am open to just taking it to the local rod shop and have them do it for me. Any suggestions? I think it would also be worth have your steering rack in place when you decide on your motor placement, just to make sure you don't end up having to do something difficult/impossible with the steering column routing afterwards. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,206 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,206 | I would tack weld everything till I had 90% of all parts installed. Its more work to pull it back apart, but a lot less work then cutting whole welds out when you find it wrong.

I have moved my engine twice already. Final resting place now, but it cost me $$$ because I was "SURE" about the placement before!
