I ordered a wood block kit for my 49 1-ton chevy with 9' bed. Most of the blocks have a hole in the center, But two of them have the hole offset some from center, Can anyone tell me where these go? Thank you, Terry

I have no experience with a 1 ton 9' bed so comparison with a 1/2 ton may not be accurate. However, on my 1952 1/2 ton is is pretty easy to see which mounting hole in the frame is offset. On the 1/2 ton it is for the cross member just in front of the rise of the frame to clear the rear end.

I found the info. from mar-k. the offset blocks go under the back brace before the rear cross sill. there offset to miss a set of rivits in the frame.
