I'm at the point where I can change what I have done, but that will get more difficult as I proceed.

The speedometer cable routes through the large hole to the driver's side of the mast jacket. <CLICK>

The line up for the center grommet sounds better than the way I have them. Also, I was able to find a photo of the interior, and the choke and throttle are in that order on the dash, so it makes sense. I will re-align mine, and get them where they belong.
