I am considering adding a bumper to the back of my truck to protect it during rear-endings and to act as a step-up into the bed. I was wondering it anyone had something of that ilk on their trucks (and can I get pics).

I don't have any pictures but if you want to use an AD big bolt front bumper for that purpose I have two to pick from. I'm in Spokane, so if you are in N. Idaho I'm not far away.

My COE does not have one as of yet, but I plan to probably use a large piece of channel or I-beam to make one eventually so that it somewhat matches the front of mine, as that part was built to last...

Jr, let me get back to you on the front-to-rear idea. Considering how the current bed is built... it might look quite nice. I did find retractable ladders for trucks that might solve my access issues.

Rusted, I was originaly thinking of something like this Flatbed just... less modern. But it would cost more then I want to spend.

I know of a PERFECT 1948 6400 front bumper, painted white, on a truck in a farm field in Payette, ID. I have been taking other parts off this one and the bumper would be next to nothing, maybe nothing if you wanted it. LevisPop
