A guy called and said he had stalled out and was ready for a new project. He had his eye on a 1963 Impala. A lot of work has been done already, camaro front end, nova rear, 400 sb, 400 turbo tranny. With help from a friend we finished the Easywire conversion and got it running nicely. Next stop was a new exhaust system, that's when I realized the power and torque this thing has. Without the weight of the box I could barely move without spinning the tires. I may have to add weight when it's all done. I'm currently at the paint stage as you can see from the pictures. I plan on the outside being metallic green and the interior a silver grey with black seat, headliner and door panel.The doors look like the color changes under the w/s. I am not sure about the cab. You might want to post this question in the Paint & Body Shop.
This forum, The DITY Gallery, is not often visited by anyone other than a new member who wants to get pictures and information about his/her truck into the Gallery.
For the most part, the exterior color ends where the exterior sheet metal ends. Follow any area of exterior sheet metal towards the interior. Usually, either the exterior sheet metal overlaps the interior sheet metal (in the door openings, for example), or the exterior sheet metal is "pinched" to the interior sheet metal (as in the windshield area, I think).
