Just got started working on a 1934 1.5 ton i found on crgs lst. my son wants to a mech. so i thought this would be a good project to break him in on, plus i like old iron anyway. i would appreciate anyone with a similar truck to contact me, i've got a ton of questions, first off if anyone could tell me where to find technical drawings for the wood frame for the cab i would very grateful, the work on these old vehicles aint so bad ,but tracking down parts and info can a real challenge Thanks Donald

Welcome Donald, if you click links at the top of the page, you will find a list of parts suppliers. Check out the other forums on this site and ask wherever appropriate.

Like Leo says, help is out there, just ask in the appropriate sections and the info and advice will follow.

You're also lucky to be close to some really knowledgeable fellow 'bolters.

Welcome to Stovebolt! I have about 5 34-35 chevy 1 1/2 ton trucks. One is a daily driver the a 350 motor and 350 trans.
I am slowly restoring my grandfathers to as close to stock as possible. Two others mostly complete but need restored.
So if you look through my pictures on web shot below you may find some helpful information or email me.

All you Virginians need to also check in with us down in the Old Dominion Forum in the Side Lot (Go back up to the list of forums here on the Stovebolt Discussion Board and scroll down until you get to it).

We have a lot going on here in the Virginia/So. Maryland area this year and we'd love to have you guys join us in person.

Welcome aboard and thanks for stopping by this site!

Regards,
John
