Western NY to be exact- I don't have a "bolt", but I do have a desire to see what you guys are up to here... don't throw me under the bus, please, even though my truck has a (gasp) blue oval, doesn't mean I don't like these old GM's. If it is any consolation, I am putting an Isuzu 4BD1T in my F100. I like to see what other people are doing, and work from their ideas. You have some very interesting posts on here that have caught my eye- particularly the signal stat wiring topics. Yes, the fords used some of the same stuff. After all, the old trucks were a lot like the heavy trucks of the day- they were component vehicles, meaning a supplier was used by all of the big 3 for certain components, like turn signal switches. Hope to find some answers to my signal stat questions. You guys all get along so well, and are very helpful. Some of the Ford snobs on other groups could take a lesson. In advance- thank you all.

Welcome to the Bolt,Greg. If you don't mention the Ferd I promise I won't tell smile

I'm sure you'll find a "bowtie" to your liking and this is the place to be. Hang around, pull up a chair. Lots to be discussed around the garage.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Any old iron is good (even if it's an oval)

Heck you might end up with a pair
Good luck and welcome aboard.

Welcome Greg, I'm from Seneca Falls NY. Where do you reside? This site is really great. I don't say a lot but visit and read this site several times daily. You are welcomed here. I also was a old ferd lover in my past life.

Enjoy, Karl

Welcome Greg, I honestly don't know what it's like to own a Ford but feel free to hang out here.
