Hi all! I'm Tom, from Northern California. I'm eyeing a '39 1 1/2 ton, PTO, dump bed. I took a look last week, it runs, seems complete, I'm told everything works. It needs tires.. I printed frame specs for a crawl-under, was told to carefully inspect the bolts for excessive corrosion, since it was from a dairy ranch. I appear to be the 3rd, or fourth owner. Anything else I should watch for??
Great info!
My brother, who I helped get a '55 Suburban for recommended you guys.

Hi from Indiana. As mentioned check out the big bolts section. You'll make a lot of friends there.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

I used the site to verify some info, and made my down payment. The owner also has a '40 rod, and rebuilding a '68 P/U, so that gave me hope!
